"I’ve tried numerous sponges, began with non latex foam wedges, and this sponge has the softest flexible material which bounces and presses super comfortably with perfectly efficacious size for the coverage I need, wherever and however I use it. It beats out all other sponges. I’ve gone through a couple. I love them! My face is very sensitive. This is super gentle, antibacterial, has amazing shape and locations for different effects."

"I honestly wasn’t sure about the shape of this sponge after using wedges for years, but I immediately loved it!! And the texture? Whatever makes this sponge different makes my foundation go on beautifully. No streaks, no weird patches; it’s just smooth and even. I don’t dampen mine, and I feel like it’s perfect! "I have used a number of different brand makeup sponges including latex free. I have never used one this gentle against my skin or does as good a job evenly distributing what ever product I'm using. Cleans easier than most also."

"I love this sponge applicator and it does a great job of applying makeup. My only reservation is that I find it hard to clean. In the summer, I wear makeup with sunscreen (I don't know if this makes a difference or not), and there is always a residue even after several washings."

- How often should the sponge be replaced?
- every 3 to 6 months, depending on how often you use and wash it.
- How do you clean the sponge?
- Thank you for reaching out to us! It's best to clean your sponge as often as possible. We recommend at least once a week, to ensure you’re depositing clean product onto your skin. You can use the coconut cream, about a pea size on a paper towel, then massage the coconut cream or gentle cleanser into the sponge. Once all the makeup is cleaned from the rinse with warm water and lay on a paper towel.
- Can the sponge be used with UnCoverup?
- Yes! It can be used with all three formulas!
- Dear RMS Team - this is an awesome product. I absolutely love it. The only question I have is how to clean it. Do you have any tips? None of my methods have been particularly successful.
- To wash your Skin2Skin beauty sponge, you can use any gentle soap that you would use to wash your face and or body plus warm water. I like to swirl the Sponge into the cleanser, using the palm of my hand, until all of the makeup has been cleaned from the Sponge. Typically, I like to clean my brushes and sponges at night and spread them out on a paper towel to dry so they're ready for use by the morning!
